Situated in the seaside village of West Wittering this former sculptors studio sits in its own south facing garden. It has been converted into a unique holiday destination with two en-suite rooms with King size beds, open plan kitchen/dining area, upstairs twin bedroom and lounge. The Barn can accommodate up to 6 guests. Larger groups please also consider Sheepwash Lodge. Sleeps 2 but has a sofa bed in the sitting room. A kitchen diner, sitting room and private garden . Plenty of parking. Sheepwash Barn is a self catering holiday venue in the countryside with a large garden and patio with pond. An outdoor shower and storage facility and plenty of parking. The interior comprises of two ground floor double en-suite bedrooms with King size beds. Open plan kitchen and dining area with access into the courtyard garden, outside seating and BBQ space. A spiral staircase leads to a twin bedroom with connecting walkway to cosy sitting room. The traditional timber built barn was used by sculptor alexandra beale as her studio prior to it being converted into this beautiful airy space. Sheepwash barn is surrounded by garden and open fields. The sculptures in the garden are originals by Alix . The barn's driveway has immediate access on to the Saltern's Way cycle track and footpaths to Itchenor and the beautiful West Wittering Beach. The cycling is suitable for all ages as it is lovely and flat around here so even the little ones can enjoy it . The barn is entirely for your use. There is parking for 3-4 cars. There's a large amount of outdoor space to sit, bbq and bask in the sun or play. The beautiful views are across open farmland and we are right on the Salterns Way cycle path , so bring your bikes . There's the outdoor shower for the weary swimmers and surf goers return. There is a bus stop 2 mins away running every 15 mins between us E Wittering and Chichester. We are always available to help or offer advice just give us a call . Sheepwash Barn is located within a mile of the award winning blue flag beach of West Wittering and sand dunes of East Head. The beach is highly ranked within the UK for kitesurfing and windsurfing for participants of all levels. West Wittering village has a selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants all within close proximity, plus a butchers, general store , hair salon, gift shop and Art Gallery. The City of Chichester is 6 miles away and is known for its Cathedral, book a ticket for theTheatre and visit Pallant House Art Gallery. Portsmouth is half an hours drive away with its historic dockyard the Mary Rose and more. To the east is the beautiful town of Arundel with its castle and Abbey and to the north of Chichester lies The Goodwood Estate, which hosts world famous events including The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood and The Revival. West Wittering beach now operates a book in advance system for car parking. Our property is approximately a 20-25 minute walk, 5 minute cycle away. The bus is a two minute walk away and they run every fifteen minutes between the villages and Chichester . The nearest train station is Chichester .
